Maurice grew up in Greensboro, North Carolina and matriculated to North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University before enlisting in the United States Marine Corps. In 2013 Maurice was called to be in full-time ministry. He received his training at North Carolina School of Biblical Studies and is currently continuing his education at Grand Canyon University.
Maurice married his wife Britney in 2009 and they now have three children. They have served the Lord together as Maurice has served in the ministry. In 2018, Maurice was led to plant Gate City church in the Greensboro area as more than 50% of residents do not have any church affiliation. Maurice’s goal is to unite the citizens of Greensboro and the surrounding areas by connecting them to each other and to Christ.
MEET DOMONIC-WORSHIP PASTOR
Domonic Ricks, a native of High Point and Greensboro, NC, began singing and playing the piano at the young age of three. He was raised at the Olga Avenue Church of Christ and later attended the Church of Christ at South English Street where he was a frequent song leader at both churches. Domonic started traveling throughout the country singing at a young age. He has had the honor to work with super-producer Maurice Starr (creator of New Edition), starred in a national commercial (birds supermarket), as well as opened for Atlantic Starr and landed the lead role in the famous Broadway musical “Tap Dance Kid”. He has toured, recorded with, and sung background for his mentor, Pastor John P. Kee.
Domonic is the loving husband to wife Candice Ricks and proud father of three beautiful girls, Aniyah, Madison, and Grace. Domonic Ricks is an anointed man of God. He is a profound minister of music, a super producer, songwriter, and dynamic vocalist. Domonic’s mission is to educate the lost and the believer on the truth of God. His musical prowess and spiritual gifting allows him to effectively minister through music. His favorite passage of scripture is Psalm 33:1-4
